Gold Club members understanding of all phases of the pole vault is extended. The vaulters understandings of biomechanics are reinforced through more focused analysis of their vault. The pole vault learning progression introduced in the novice club is extended and analyzed more accurately challenging the vaulters to improve.
Meet preparation and meet management techniques are added to the gold club member’s toolbox. More emphasis is placed on conditioning, core strength training including speed strength and agility training. A one-on-one video analysis session is utilized monthly to assist in planning for the following months focus.
The Gold Club meets twice a week for 2 hours, totaling 16 hours per month.
